Our Mission
We are very pleased to announce that Alex Drummond has been admitted to the firm's partnership, effective January 1, 2026.
Since joining MMJS as an associate in 2023, Alex has consistently demonstrated exceptional legal skill, a strong commitment to our clients and a collaborative approach that reflects our firm's values. His contributions to his solicitors’ practice and his leadership within the team have played an important role in our continued success. This partnership is a well-deserved recognition of Alex’s hard work, professionalism, and dedication to the firm's growth.
Alex grew up in Holland, Manitoba, and graduated from Treherne Collegiate in 2010. He then attended Brandon University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2014. Prior to attending law school at the University of Manitoba in 2019, Alex worked with an agricultural company, as a carpenter, and as a staff member with the Manitoba government. Alex graduated from law school in 2022, and articled with MMJS before being called to the Manitoba Bar in 2023. Alex is excited to marry his fiancé, Kristen, next summer near her family home in Rapid City, Manitoba. Alex and Kristen moved to Carman in 2024 and purchased their first home together in 2025. Alex practices primarily out of our Carman and Treherne locations, as well as our satellite office in Glenboro, and our other offices as needed. Alex is a part of the Carman Chamber of Commerce and is a director with Community Futures Heartland. In his spare time, Alex enjoys playing a variety of sports, the piano, and fishing at the family cottage.
